Description: 'A 1782-dated French legal document (Beginning with the 'A tous ceux qui ces letteres verront' formula which, as I understand, indicates a Chancery document) relating to Archambaud-Joseph de Talleyrand-Perigord, younger brother of the better known Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand-Perigord. Fully written both sides. Fundamentally Very Good for age with a single neat central vertical fold. Some marking to the top left corner. Following Archambaud's name appears to be a list of Seigneuries. My knowledge of 18th century legal French is poor, and the clerk's hand is difficult to decipher but, doubtless, this would make an interesting piece of research. As you can see, we've been selling on eBay since 1999. However, I've also been a book dealer for the past 25 years. I closed my physical book shop last year but still sell on ABE.
