On reverse: SIX DOLLARS Printed by Hall and Sellers Philadelphia 1776 with buttercup leaf (which I believe is an anti-counterfeiting tactic). The emblem on the front depicts a beaver gnawing down a tree with the motto: "PERSEVERANDO" (meaning Persevering). The currency measures about 3-3/4" x 3".
