Description: I have here for sale a RARE book entitled KING HENRY V by SHAKESPEARE As Performed at the Theatre-Royal, Covent Garden. Regulated by Mr Younger Promoter of that Theatre. An Introduction, and Notes Critical and Illustrative, are added by the Authors of the Dramatic Censor printed for John Bell; London, and C Etherington, York, in 1773. This edition of Shakespeare's Henry V includes the cast list for the performance at the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden, and a full-page b/w illustration of Act IV, Scene IV, on the frontispiece. Maroon leather spine on maroon hardboards with gilt lettering on the spine. The boards and spine covering have come away from the spine. Minor marks on the boards and wear to the leather along the hinges of the spine. Browning to endpapers, frontispiece plate and title page. Foxing to pages with a minor tear to last page. All pages are firm and the book is in very good condition for its age. 80 pages, plus publisher's catalogue 4 pages. 19.5 x 12 cm.We have over 2000 items in our Ebay shop on a range of subjects, so please feel free to have a browse and see if anything else takes your fancy.
