Description: Description Edo Antique Japanese Very Old 2 TAKOTSUBO Octopus TrapAge : Edo period (1603-1868) These two very old Japanese takotsubo are tools used to catch octopus.They were actually used by fishermen in the Edo period. The smaller octopus pot is for catching Amphioctopus fangsiao (Iidako). Good antique Condition. The large Takotsubo looks like it has a crack in the photo, but in reality it does not. The small Takotsubo has a small hole. Please check them out with photographs.
