Description: ARREST AND TRIAL - Episode title: “INQUEST INTO A BLEEDING HEART”. Original air date: November 10, 1963. This series was somewhat like “Perry Mason” however this series was one of the first 90 minute shows on television. Only 30 episodes were made and I don’t think this ever went into syndication, however I’m not 100% positive on this. I’ve been told one of the main reasons for the failure of this series was the 90 minute format. Back in the 1960’s most families stayed with the same channel all night as you had to get up and change the channel on the TV set itself, no remotes. Filling up a half hour spot was a problem as the two competing networks had all half hour and one hour shows. This series is actually very enjoyable and very well done and very worthy of being on one of the cable channels today. Note this episode features Chuck Connors and Richard Basehart. This print is complete and mounted on 2 nice 1600’ reels. New white leaders and tails on both reels. All opening and end credits. Nice sharp contrast. Printed on Gevaert Belgium stock - film lies flat - no warping - and no vinegar smell. Very few splices - mostly where commercials were removed.
