Description: Cry of the City is a 1948 American film noir starring Victor Mature, Richard Conte, and Shelley Winters. Directed by Robert Siodmak, it is based on the novel by Henry Edward Helseth, The Chair for Martin Rome. The screenwriter Ben Hecht worked on the film's script, but is not credited. The film was partly shot on location in New York City.This is an excellent condition film print mounted on 2 x 1600' reels and printed on KODAK b/w film stock. Please see photos above for image representation and color/or b/w image quality. This print has leaders and a countdown on one of the reels. This print was tested for VS, see the results. Test results indicate this print is very stable and has zero VS odor or warp issues. All films are English language unless otherwise noted. Premium!EXCELLENT-a color stock but shows no signs of discoloration, fading, shifting.
