Description: 16 size Waltham model 1888 American Watch Co. Waltham, Mass. 19 Jewel open face pocket watch movement. The watch has at least a broken staff. Will need whole staff work. The serial number is 7000549. It is from a run of Special grade 21 Jewel model 1888 movements. Has ruby jewels and the balance jewel looks like it could be a diamond. Movement also has raised jewel settings. The dial is single sunk and unmarked. There is a small chip at the four and a hairline. Has all three hands. The gear train is in excellent condition. Mainspring is good. The seconds will tick and advance manually by moving the pallet arm. Watch does NOT work. It is being sold as is and as shown. Buyer is to pay $19.00 for insurance and shipping.
