Description: Offered is this framed and matted colorful Caribbean-style print of two cats surrounded by a border of fish, signed by the artist Melanie Griffith (NOT the actress) on the matte. Although not stated on the print itself the work is simply entitled "Two Cats". The artist, who was born in Alabama but moved to South America at a very early age, later lived in Key West. The bright colors of those regions have no doubt contributed to her artistic style. The black frame is approx. 15 1/8" x 12 1/4", with an opening in the matte of about 10" x 7 3/4". Everything is in very good condition. I see no problems with the glass or the print itself. The frame has a few minor marks and there are a few specks between the glass and the matte.
