Description: Location: C-3 This listing is for an octagonal shaped 14k and sterling silver pill box/snuff box/compact with ring and chain. The box measures 1-3/8" wide on the outside and 1-1/4" wide on the inside. Closed the box is 12mm (about 1/2" inch) thick. The lid has a stripped in sterling and 14k design with a three letter monogram. Inside there is a round mirror as is. It isn't broken and is smooth to the touch. The inside foil has slid that's all and is slightly larger than a quarter (see picture).There is a gold wash on the inside as well as being stamped: STERLING - hallmarks - C8487/2. The chain is 2-5/8" long, and is soldered on both end to the jump rings. The band/ring is a size 9 and is stamped: STERLING on the outside (see photo). Total weight: 31.3 grams. Lovely treasure!
