Kinetic Model Kits has been very active in producing high quality 1/48 scale aircraft with an emphasis on interesting subjects. The F-16 Fighting Falcon has been around for quite a while and a Mid-Life Update (MLU) has extended the useful life of this ubiquitous fighter aircraft. In 2008, Kinetic’s first attempt at a 1/48 scale model was a bit of a bust. Serious inaccuracies could not be fixed by modelers, so 14 years later, Kinetic created a new tooling to get things right. This is the first kit from that new bloodline. This release is part of the Kinetic Gold line and has markings for five different NATO aircraft from Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Norway and Denmark. In this fully packed box, you get weapons like AIM-120B/C, AIM-9M/X, AIM-7X, GBU-12, GBU-49, GBU-24, GBU-31, GBU-38, as well as AAQ-13/14 & AAQ-28 Litening, AAQ-33 Sniper, ALQ-84 and fuel tanks.
