We combined all the essential elements that contribute to a remarkable pair of Hats, and it exceeded our expectations! Let's delve into the details of these exceptional Hi-Hats.Starting with the Top Hat: We meticulously hand-hammered it to shape, capturing the traditional darkness that discerning drummers crave. To add a touch of agitation and character, we employed a second, larger hammer treatment. A single-line lathe was applied to the bow and bell, ensuring optimal sticking, while fully lathing the edge to enhance its openness. The bottom of the top Hat features a raw bell and perimeter, enhancing strength and clarity, gradually opening up towards the end with a full lathe treatment.Now, onto the Bottom Hat, which possesses a slight variation. The top of the bottom Hat mirrors the top of the top Hat, while the bottom of the top Hat remains completely raw, enhancing clarity. To ensure the quickest response and prevent any airlock, two vent holes were incorporated on the bottom Hat.Together, we are confident that we have achieved perfection in this Hi-Hat pair. Additionally, they are available in a 15.5" size, offering more body and volume.
