Description: I have to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. THIS IS MY LAST ONE! This kit is a collaboration between two of the giants in the industry. The basic kit was created by Italeri in 2012 and was updated and released under the Tamiya label in 2013. Tamiya added three fantastic figures, a sheet of decals and new parts like a folded canvas roof. The original kit was a solid performer, but the extra boost given by Tamiya puts this in a class by itself. I found dozens of listings for this kit on eBay (almost all from distant overseas sellers), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this item very quickly. Here is what I could learn about this kit from around the web: The Tamiya website shows the box art and a few photos of a professionally completed model along with a short background on the staff car. You know you are dealing with a top-notch outfit when they work the word “lithe” into their write-up: A Versatile Customer The 508CM "Coloniale" was a vehicle used during WWII by both Italian and German forces. This 3.6m lightweight, 2-wheel drive vehicle had lithe handling thanks to its effective suspension, could squeeze speeds of up to 90km/h out of the 32hp engine, and was capable of carrying four soldiers. It was put to use in a variety of situations and tasks, most notably in North Africa where the Italian Army used it for officers' transportation and reconnaissance activities. As the parts come out, you can see the Tamiya parts are bagged separately from the Italeri ones. There are even separate instructions for the Tamiya figures and the Italeri vehicle assemblies. He leaves everything in their bags, but you get a quick look at the entire contents of this excellent kit. きくだたかし delivered a very professional 8-minute Kit Review Video on YouTube that has captioning, but no narration. You typically get an overall view of a sprue and then zoomed in shots of the parts detail. The Italeri parts are viewed first, followed by the Tamiya parts. This kit is in a standard Tamiya box about 12” x 8.5” x 2”. As you can see from the pictures, the box is pristine and is still in the original shrink wrap, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with tan and clear plastic parts, decals for four marking schemes for a Fiat 508CM Coloniale Staff Car along with three detailed figures with weapons & accessories.
