S. & Co.) in Bavaria, a region of Germany.-Pattern name is unknown.-The style of the maker's mark on the back of the platter narrows the production date to sometime between 1880-1918.-Diameter is 13 inches.-Condition:This 100-plus-year-old item is in very nice used, antique condition.No chips, cracks, or scratches.The platter has some very minimal wear, but it all seems related to age and normal use. That is, it seems not to have been misused or neglected.See photos for more details of the platter's condition. I've highlighted two manufacturing errors on the platter (a bubble and a fleck of color under the glaze). The photos also show where the roses transfer has some wear.Platter is very clean, and ready to use or display.
