Please note that these needles do not suit the Read 32/24 or 16 Row pleaters Set your pleater with the number of needles needed for the smocking project and a holding row for top and bottom rows. From my experience it is important to make sure your smocking pleater needles are all the same size and length. Check that all needles to be used are correctly in place. NB If there are any needles that are bent or are incorrectly placed, remove them.
