Here we shared a review from customer about installation, then you can understand the installation easily: There is a steel bar that mounts to studs/molly bolts, and there are 2 steel rods that protrude out from that steel mounting bar. The rods go almost the entire way into each shelf, and the bar recesses into back of each shelf. These are not the tacky loose floating s helves that can't support any weight without sagging. Very pleased. These would have been around $200 each from a special order cabinet company, and I believe the mounting system is superior.
