The purple leather portfolio itself is NOT included in the sale nor is the Commentary. The excerpts from the Commentary are just to give a flavor for Dali's work. The Dali Portfolio: 40 images of the Bible, is an exclusive World Edition from the ars mundi Collection. These 40 paintings were produced by Salvador Dali during the years 1964-1969. They have been produced for this portfolio as high quality, classic, original art prints in 6-15 colors, embellished with gold and bronze. The printing techniques used are both costly and complex and it carries an extremely high value. The individual prints were produced in the year 1985 in the lithographic workshop of Rizzoli Editore in Milan, using special 170 gr. multi-coat matte art paper. The Portfolio itself is hand-bound in Cabra-leather. The Dali Portfolio is being offered for a limited time only 1/1/86-12/31/86.
