There are two 5 peice fanci-pak sets of pink Shiny Brite ornaments in this lot. They were produced in the mid 50s by Max Eckardt and Sons, New York. The ornaments all have wear, paint loss in spots, scratches from use, and a few have cracks in the paint, but not the glass underneath. The caps read Shiny Brite Made in USA. Most are in okay condition, a few have some rust on the caps. The ornaments measure approximately 2 1/4 inches each. The cardboard sleeves do have some wear and foxing. There are places on each sleeve that look like either a price, or name was covered over with black marker. The ornaments can be displayed in such a way that you would not really notice this. They are ready to hang on a tree, display in a cute glass or wood bowl on a table, or line them up on a piece of white cloth or "snow" along a mantle. The patent numbers on the cardboard sleeves refer to the box and are US Patent Nos 2717115; 2717116; 2775391. The patents were issued in 1951, 1952, and 1953 respectively to The Alford Cartons Company. When properly packaged the ornaments will ship at a two pound rate.
