Description: This is a 10+ oz lot of fossil oyster shells from Post Oak Creek in Texas. They are Oysters that we found along the post oak creek. One of them is still in the matrix with smaller shells attached to it. I am not sure of the exact oyster foil species but they may be Bellaplicata oysters. The fossils are about 145 million year old and would make a great addition to any fossil collection.
