If these snails are not provided food, they will eat live plants if not fed. They eat any vegetable or fruit, I sliced up potatoes and carrots. These snails are slower than most breeds. If a DOA situation occurs (it's rare), just give it 24 hours, the snails are in shock and they need to “wake up” and it can take a few hours into the night.We've sold 1000's of snails now and I always throw in free gift snails.
