Description: This is 12lbs raw unheated late fall extracted honey from my small apiary here in south western New York state not far from the PA border.The honey is in 4 wide mouth Ball quart jars. Because the honey is granulated (crystallized)It makes for easy spoon removal for cooking,coffee,tea,etc.Late fall honey here granulates within a few weeks here because of the goldenrod and wild aster nectar that gives the a honey a unique aroma and flavor.I have a couple small vegetable gardens and don't use any insecticides or am I near any farms.so the honey is about as close to organic as can be without saying so.There are other nectars from spring and summer that get incorporated into the honey including:clover,wild raspberry,thimbleberry,blackberry, linden ,early maple,dandelion ,blueberry, just to name a few.My bee hives are contained within an electric fence because this is great black bear stomping grounds and they are an issue.I've had great compliments on the honey.By the way,the honey can always be returned to a liquid state if need be by placing in warm water.I believe you would like this honey.....Free USPS shipping.
