Our eggs come from all proven Blonde pairs that have a history of fertility and hatchability. Therefore eggs are assumed to be fertile, as mating has been observed several times on our 24 hour surveillance system. All of our pairs have been observed mating more than one time a day. Blonde pairs produce a 50% chance for blonde chicks, a 25% chance for white chicks, and a 25% chance for standard chicks. Any standards that are produced from blonde pairings will carry the blonde gene. We only ship eggs that are fresh and have not been washed to retain their natural protective coating to keep contaminates out. All eggs are thoroughly checked for cracks and chips before shipping. Our emus are fed quality emu feed and they are raised without antibiotics or hormones. Please beware that Emu eggs are LARGE and you will need an incubator that will accommodate them. When incubating eggs, they need to be kept at the proper temperature and humidity and proper rotation of eggs is necessary to help ensure a successful hatch. The emu eggs are carefully wrapped and packaged in packing material. We ship the eggs by USPS Priority Mail flat rate and they usually arrive in 3-4 days.
