Description: Exquisite and very hard to find 4-lobe 4-panel onionskin here with deep lobes and a faceted pontil. The colors are your classic red on yellow and blue on white. Clear glass so colors really pop. The marble is near-mint with a few nicks (largest 5mm max diameter see pics esp pic #6 showing the bottom pontil over the blue panel on the left). Displays very nicely. The lobes are deep (the pics don't do justice) and there is some air trapped in the recesses of the lobes which gives dimension. Incidental green color in the bottom of a lobe adds depth as well (see pic #3). Nice swirling at the top pontil and the bottom pontil is expertly faceted. While this marble is not wet mint is displays very well with the bright end-of-day colors. I tried to capture the lobes in the pics but it doesn't stand out as much as when in hand. I am very confident you'll be happy with this one if you are looking for a hard to find onionskin in really nice (not perfect) shape. Guarantee original condition without buffing/polishing/etc... I also do not "wet" my marbles to make them appear more shiny for pics. Established collectors know the value of this marble!
