This style of wedding band is designed to dress up and enhance the look of a typical solitaire engagement ring. This wrap features 14 natural diamonds. There are eight "thin cut" tapered baguettes, four full brilliant cut round mélange, and two princess cuts. Total natural diamond weight of the ring is stated by the manufacturer at 0.35 carat. It will work with most any solitaire, but usually enhancer wraps like this need some final tweaking by a jeweler to get them to an optimum fit. The photo with the solitaire (which is not included in this listing) is with a 1/4 carat round; and as you can see, it really calls for a bigger solitaire diamond. The spread of the bridge between the sets of baguette diamonds is about 6.8 mm. We're going to guess that any well-cut diamond between 0.70 and 1.25 carat would be suitable without major alteration, but that 0.90 to 1.10 carat would be the Goldilocks perfect size. The diamonds are well-cut, eye clean, and in the near colorless range. The average color of the diamonds is graded at H/I, and average clarity graded at VS-2. These diamonds are all 100% genuine, natural, untreated, and unenhanced. Natural, earth mined diamonds have a centuries long history of appreciating in value, whereas lab created diamonds have an undeniable history of being available for less and less money every year! The mounting is by the premium New York manufacturer Nili Jewelry Co., style number 4256A/Y404. Unfortunately, Nili is no longer in business. We purchased mainly invisible set and thin cut baguette diamond rings from them because of the superior manufacturing quality and competitive pricing. Thin cut baguette diamonds like this style look like they have a bigger carat weight of diamonds (much more expensive) than they actually do! The ring is 14 karat yellow gold, currently finger size 6.75, and sizable by any good jeweler. It is about 6.1 mm wide at the top from the outside of the baguette channels, and the ring weighs 2.6 grams. This ring is solid gold and unworn; don't be duped into buying a cheap gold-plated ring or someone else's worn-out castoff!
