The diamonds have a manufacturer's stated combined weight of 0.14 carat. They have a nice sparkle and are graded at J/K color (top, top light brown) and SI-1 clarity with good overall cut. The yellow sapphire is a nice golden color that could almost pass for a fancy-colored canary diamond! It measures 2.5 x 2.5 mm with a manufacturer's stated weight of 0.18 carat. This gem is eye clean and well cut. The trade assumes that most all sapphires and rubies are heat treated, and this gem likely underwent this process, but it is 100% a rare genuine, natural gemstone. The diamonds are also 100% genuine and natural and are completely untreated and unenhanced as well. This is the kind of piece you can dress up or dress down, suitable to be worn with a formal dress yet equally at home with jeans and a sweater. The pendant measures 21 mm from top of bail to pendant bottom. It comes with a nice, sturdy pendant style rope chain, but it easily slides off and could be worn on a different chain. The bail will accommodate a chain up to 3.4 mm thick. The chain is finished to 18 inches in length and is held with a good quality spring ring clasp. The pendant is by the GM division of the Los Angeles based, higher end manufacturer Kattan Jewelry, style number 122503. The pendant itself weighs 1.7 grams and the chain weighs 0.8 grams, for a total weight of 2.5 grams. The pendant and the chain are both solid 14 karat white gold and new; don't be duped into buying a gold plated piece or some else's worn out castoff!
